The Applied AI Foundation is a non-profit initiative dedicated to building open source AI infrastructure for industries that power civilization. We believe AI should be a shared resource, not a competitive moat.
Founded in partnership with MetaWeave Consulting, we combine deep industry expertise with cutting-edge AI research to create systems that any company can deploy and customize.
What we believe
"AI for everyone in the world, every company in the world."
- AI is infrastructure, not a product. Like electricity and the internet, intelligent systems should be accessible to all.
- Domain expertise matters. Generic AI tools fail in specialized industries. We build with operators, not for them.
- Open source wins. When the whole industry contributes, the whole industry benefits. Proprietary AI creates fragile dependencies.
What we do
Research
We research multi-agent architectures, persistent memory systems, and autonomous operations for industrial applications.
Build
We build open source platforms — starting with Lifeverse AI — that any organization can deploy.
Partner
We work with industry partners like MetaWeave to validate, deploy, and iterate on real-world implementations.

Everything we learn goes back to the community. Research papers, code, operational patterns — all open.
